1. Invitation

a) Firstly, please check your eligibility to graduate via GRADUATE VERIFICATION button below. Only those who are eligible to graduate will be in the invitation list.

  • b) From the link, please check and verify your personal information such as Name, MyKad or Passport number are correct, as it will be printed on your Diploma and Transcript.
  • c) If your personal information is inaccurate, please contact GMI for rectification via:

  • d) The cut-off date for graduate verification is: 17 October 2025
  • e) Please complete your particulars in the Convocation Form 2025

    Print a copy, and bring it along during the Pre-Convocation/Registration on 6th – 7th November 2025

    as it will be used for payment verification, call card, and robe collection

2. Clearance of Outstanding Fee

Clearance of Outstanding Fee

  • a) Outstanding fee is the total amount of fee(s) you owe GMI throughout your study until complete. Convocation fee is the fee you need to pay for convocation. These two fees are different altogether.
  • b) Graduates with any amount of outstanding fee will not be allowed to attend the Convocation Ceremony, unless cleared.
  • c) Your outstanding fee amount can be checked directly with our Finance Department via:

  • Note: Payment must be made via online transfer only. Cash payments will not be accepted.
4. Confirmation of Attendance
  • a) Your attendance to the Convocation Ceremony is confirmed only when the outstanding fee (if any) is cleared and the Convocation Fee is paid.
  • b) The confirmation of attendance can only be made via the GMI Website only.
  • c) Graduates are allowed to bring in two (2) persons only into the ceremony hall via invitation card.
  • d) The invitation card for hall access will be distributed during the Graduates Registration at GMI Sport Complex.
  • e) The cut-off date for attendance confirmation is: 24 October 2025
5. MOHE Tracer Study & GMI Graduate Survey

All graduates are required to complete the GMI Graduate Survey whether they are attending the Convocation Ceremony or not. The MOHE Tracer Study is made compulsory to graduates of 2025.

MOHE Tracer Study

  • a) This exercise is made compulsory to all graduates of 2025 by the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) to all graduating students in the Institute of Higher Learning (IPT).

    Below are the steps to access the portal:
    i) Browse the portal using the Mozilla, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Google Chrome.
    ii) Login with your IC No (without space)

    Should you have any issue to access the portal, please email to alumni@gmi.edu.my.

  • b) The online survey can be accessed at https://graduan.mohe.gov.my/SKPG25/LogMasuk.aspx starting from 26 September 2025 - 7 November 2025
  • c) Once done, please print the slip for submission during the Graduates Registration.
  • d) Failing which, you will not be allowed to proceed to register and collect robe.
  • e) If the graduate has completed and wishes to update their current employment status (Updates can ONLY be made 24 hours after completing the SKPG1), they may do so by filling in the Graduate Tracer Study survey at the following link for SKPG 2.0: https://graduan.mohe.gov.my/update/LogMasuk.aspx

GMI Graduate Survey

  • a) This exercise is made compulsory by GMI to all its graduating students.
  • b) The online survey can be accessed at https://forms.gle/m8dCnGSaLW4ZtEA49 at any time before the Graduates Registration .
  • c) Your submission of the online survey will be checked during the Graduates Registration (06 & 07 November 2025) . Please perform the survey before the registration date.
  • d) Failing which, you will not be allowed to proceed for registration.

All graduates who will be attending the Convocation Ceremony are required to register (once) on any of the dates shown below:

7. Convocation Briefing & Rehearsal
  • a) Convocation briefing and rehearsal will take place at Feisol Hassan-Halle, German-Malaysian Institute, 7 November 2025 (Friday) starting at 2.30pm.
  • b) The rehearsal is compulsory for graduates who will be attending the ceremony.
  • c) Attire for rehearsal: Smart casual.
